The French market is a strategic hub for many industries, supported by a highly skilled workforce. If you are looking to work with French experts while keeping operations simple and compliant, Freeteam provides a structured and efficient framework to deliver your projects with confidence.

The process is straightforward and designed to give you full control over your project, while Freeteam handles the administrative and legal complexity.

Step 1: present your project to Freeteam

You start by contacting Freeteam and presenting your project or role. We take the time to understand your objectives, constraints and expectations in order to design the right operational setup.

You keep full autonomy to select your consultant and discuss the mission directly with them, while Freeteam provides the administrative, contractual and logistical support.

Step 2: negotiate directly with the consultant

You and the consultant agree on the key parameters of the assignment, such as the daily rate, workload and working arrangements. Once aligned, the consultant confirms their commitment to the project.

Step 3: contractual agreement between Freeteam and the consultant

Freeteam then signs a contractual agreement with the consultant. This document defines Freeteam’s responsibilities, including administrative support, compliance with French regulations, and ongoing operational follow-up during the assignment.

We also monitor the progress of the mission to ensure objectives and timelines are respected.

Step 4: project contract between Freeteam and your company

Once the consultant is selected and the scope is validated, you sign a project contract with Freeteam. This agreement details the scope of work, duration, workload, start date, fees and termination conditions.

At this stage, Freeteam assumes contractual responsibility for the execution of the assignment.

Step 5: employment contract between Freeteam and the consultant

Before starting the assignment, the consultant signs an employment contract with Freeteam and becomes an employee under French law.

This contract can be short-term or long-term and clearly defines the rights and obligations of both parties, including the duration of the assignment and access to French social security benefits.

From this point on, Freeteam assumes full responsibility toward French tax, payroll and administrative authorities.

Administrative management of a French employee

Freeteam guarantees full compliance with French labour law through a clear and secure contractual framework built around three relationships:

  • Sales contract with the client: defines the assignment scope, delivery standards, financial conditions and duration.
  • Contractual agreement with the consultant: outlines the expert’s role, responsibilities and the support provided by Freeteam.
  • Employment contract with the consultant: secures employee status and covers all statutory obligations, including payroll, social security and insurance contributions.

This structure allows you to work with French talent efficiently, without managing employment administration directly, and without compromising on compliance or control.
